mrzharmony5
My husband and I just bought land. I set full permissions for him and our group. He rezzed a tv and when he tried to add the link for the viewer he was denied stating he doesn not have parcel ownership. How can this be fixed where he can do everything I can. That was our main purpose in buying the land.
Ciaran Laval
Is the land group owned or owned by you? When it comes to media, it often only works for the parcel owner and you sometimes need to deed objects to the group for them to work.
Thinkerer Melville
I assume that what he wanted to do was to set the parcel media stream to some specific url so that the video would play on the TV. Here is what is needed to make that possible: You deed the parcel to the group (about land window). Read this first: CAUTION. Deeding land to a group He deeds the tv to the group (Edit Window). If you own the group, you give him a role that includes the power to change music & media. (Group window, Roles tab, Parcel settings) For more intormation see: About Land Window 2012 Landowner in Second Life.
