I'm not sure, haven't heard of that exact problem. I've heard of pink prims, and pink evnvironments.

If a Page doesn't, or won't load, that window could be pink.

We're talking about in your Inventory folder, correct?

Can you upload a screen shot?

When did the problem start, did anything change that might have created the problem, like an upgrade?

If you changed skins (UI skin that is) that would affect the colour of the Inventory window but also all other windows, menu bars etc so just having the inventory window pink is very odd.

As Knowl said, uploading an image and details on when this happened would help, also the viewer involved. I'm assuming the official viewer for now. You could try resetting the viewer to default settings by deleting the user_settings folder in AppData.

Enable Hidden Files & Folders if not already done:

1) Open Control Panel
2) Open “Folder Options”
3) Open the “View” tab
4) Check “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”

Press OK and close control panel.

Accessing AppData:

Browse to the path below that corresponds to your operating system:

Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\

Windows Vista - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\

Windows Vista Home Premium - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\

Windows 7 - C:\Users\<username>\AppData\

Inside the AppData folder:

1) Open the Roaming folder and then the SecondLife folder. Either delete the user_settings folder (or rename it user_settings_old for the moment if you wish). This will reset settings to default on restarting Second Life.

2) Restart your computer.

3) Open Second Life and log in to see if ok now. If not, you can add additional comments using Options > Edit to the right of your post.
