Selling a Gift Card

Hi, I have tons of gift cards I don't plan on using. Is there a place in SL to sell them or exchange them? Or is the best way to go to that store and post that I have them for sale? Thanks for any and all help.

Not sure what you mean by 'posting' them at the store, as most stores don't have areas for that.  Most stores also don't  allow you to put this type of thing in group chat either, so  check with the owner before doing that or you may get ejected from the group for spamming. 

There is always a trust issue too when buying things from someone you don't know.  Gift cards in particular are difficult as there have been instances in the past of people selling counterfeit cards. Because of the trust issue, you may not be able to sell them.  In any cast, don't expect to get the full value for them, since it is easier to go directly to a store and buy things than trying to track down someone online then verify that the card is legitimate and the actual value of the card.

You could take out a classified ad for them and list the cards you have for sale, their value and your asking price,.    There is always a trust issue too when buying things from someone you don't know. A classified ad is 50L minimum for one week.

Another option would be to put them out in a yard sale venue.  You can rent a small booth and set them out and set them for sale there.

Lastly, you could give them as gifts to people for rez days or other gift giving occasions if you know that the recipient might enjoy having them.
