Uploading snapshots to My Second Life

I feel so dumb, asking this but.. that My Second Life page that we access from our Dashboards -- How the heck can I upload a snapshot to there? I see them there all the time, but can find no menu or command to put my snaps there!

 

Thank you, both of you.. My problem was that I was not seeing 'feed' in the menu , it isn't readily apparent.. but clicking on my name caused it to show, and the snaps I'd sent to my profile feed were right there! Thanks!

In the Snapshot interface, click Post to My Profile Feed.

Hi Circe! Adding to Griffin's anwser, please note that you can only upload snapshots to your feed when taking them IN WORLD. We cannot upload pictures saved on our hard drives. You will see in the thread Griffin is referring to that this is a question I asked to Torley as well as his reply:

PS: Just for info: in Firestorm, there is a feature allowing you to upload snapshots directly to your Flickr.

Hi, Valerie. I don't actually see that in Firestorm any longer (v4.0.1.27000). Now there's a Profile tab, which I'm guessing is to post to your feed? (ETA: I dunno, I've never posted photos there.)

ETA: Just tested it. It does indeed post to your feed.

Thank you Griffin, actually I did not upgrade my Firestorm (the latest version is too laggy for my Mac). So I'm still having this flickr thingy possibility. I guess I am completely out of date, lol!

Awww. i'm sorry to hear that. I think I'd rather have the Flickr option. LOL.

Get an older version? Actually I am using the official viewer all the time. I only use Firestorm and Phoenix to check technical details for helping purposes in these answers. :-)

No, i like to be as up to date as possible.

 

LOL. That's the only time I open the official viewer is to check on something to answer questions here. And I only have it installed at all so SLURLs open properly.
