I get a 404 error when I try to post an event. Why?

I have posted events before with no problems.  Tonight I tried to submit an event and got a 404 error.  I tried two more times with the same result.  It should be simple, straightforward process, no?

Furthermore, I don't see any option to format the event posting with HTML or rich text , like here - why not?

Could it be another Internet Explorer's glitch? This browser is the most unfriendly one for the Second Life web site. Friends in groups I belong to use Firefox or Chrome and have no issue posting events. I would suggest you switch to one these and see if it fixes it. :smileyhappy:

About this part of your question (for the first part see Valerie´'s answer) only LL knows why. But as far as I know the events description never has allowed rich text or HTML, only plain text.
