My avatar is taking forever to download

My avatar is still "buffering" I guess you could say, it dident before ever since I gave it a new skin its taking forever.

when this happens to me, look to see if my shape or skin isnt worn, then rewear it.

This works for me when I take forever to load... Go to your current outfit in your inventory window and right mouse click to remove it. Then, go to one of your saved outfits and right mouse click to replace  (Hopefully you save your outfits) :matte-motes-grin:

This has also happened to me, my skin would take forever to download, so to fix the problem i would try removing it and then attaching it again or try a different skin if you have one that is similiar.

If nothing you do works (rebake, TP, clear cache, wear other crap, scratch your backside with car keys, etc...)

Then time to do the character test... This is how it works on V1 -

Advanced, character, character test, test male (or test female)

 

Others would have to explain V2 and V3 ways of doing that but as a last resort...

So then you get your stupid noob avatar to rezz then you can go about rebuilding it's look.

 

Sometimes little avatars just get pissed off and need to be reminded that you take good care to make sure they look their best. After reverting to the noob look, they tend to cooperate.
