Disabling Viewing Group Notices Globally

Is there a way to globally stop group notices from popping up on the screen? Or, is going into each group's profile and manually disabling group notices the only way to do it?

As far as I know there is no way to do this globally.  Would be great if we could.

That's pretty much what I figured but I thought I'd pass it by the community to see if there was something I might have overlooked in Preferences or Debug settings.
