Is there a way to make a slightly-folded 3-panel screen from one prim?

To get your 1 prim 3 panel screen:

Rez a cube.  Make it 35% hollow.  Path Cut begin=0.275 end=1.0

Size it to x=1, y=0.01, z=0.5

Voila.  Three approximately equal panels out of one prim.  You can adjust to your liking.

An alternative configuration:

Rez a cube.  Path cut begin=0.375 end=0.875

Set Y shear to 0.5

Size it to x=1, y=1, z=0.01

You can get 4 panels with a variation of this (making it hollow), but it'll be an irregular shape.

If the three can be convex and you don't mind a flat back, you can use a hollowed prism. Here are the recipes for multiple flat front panels using a prism ...

2 panels : set  x = 0.01

3 panels : set  x = 0.01; pathcut B = 0.325, E = 0.675; hollow = 66.7 (default shape)

4 panels : set  x = 0.01; pathcut B = 0.167, E = 0.833

5 panels : set  x = 0.01; pathcut B = 0.200, E = 0.800; hollow = 66.7 (default shape)

I don't suppose they will satisfy your need for slight folding though, and all would have single panel flat backs.
