How do I share my favorite (wish) list? Do I simply use the link at the top of the page?

You mean in the Marketplace?  I don't believe you can share that with anyone.

If you want to give people an idea of what you'd like to get as a present, create a notecard with the relevant information, then pass a copy of that card to people.

But, I have to advise you, I don't think that's a very good idea.  It can be very easily misconstrued as asking for gifts.  Nobody likes a gold-digger.
