Waiting for region handshake most of time

Hello, after 8PM (GMT), i have strong issues with this message. It happens most of the time.

I have no firewall except the one in windows, and i've created exception in it. The UDP TCP ports are open in my router...

But .. it happens that sometimes, i cant log in in SL, and  this message stays for some hours. Even with Avast shut.

Then eventually, i can log in after..

 

Is there a way to smooth things up ? I tried to change ports ..

Hi  Miashy, welcome to the forums.

What you describe sounds like a connectivity problem. Please conduct a speedtest (local and to Dallas) and see if your ISP maybe throttles or otherwise manages your account. Anyway, if the result doesn't tell you anything please copy/paste it to this thread. That it happens after 8 PM is a sign that maybe your local exchange is congested since everybody in your area is using the internet. Complain with your ISP and ask them to sort it out. In case of congestion a simple change, restart or redesign of the port won't help. If that's all the callcenter ppl can do escalate your case and ask for a manager.

Shutting down useless antivirus software was a good reaction tho.
