Problem with SecondLife avatar skeleton mesh

Lindens made an updated mesh avatar for importing into various programs and I chose to import the .fbx model

The UVs however dont import correctly and mudbox presents an error. I tried looking at the model in blender but when I selected UV editor to see the UVs there was nothing.

Im including screen shots of the problem I see in mudbox because I dunno how to fix the problem. as you will see the uvs are there in mudbox but seem to have have been flattened all into one UV and thats what causes the error in mudbox.

adding some more things I found. In an older thread

I found a great download that has proved far more promising than SLs downloadable skeletons for use in mudbox. however, still see a problem on import. The pics speak louder than my explanation so Ill add below in hopes someone can tell me what the problem is. they seem to be one step closer to allowing me to paint texture on the model and then export however, what on earth are the RED blotches and lord knows what to do with the errors.
