How do I post threads?

Hi Roman,

Here in Answers, the "Ask a Question" box appears on the "home" page and, absent selecting a subforum from the column on the right, any question you ask will appear in the "Technical" subforum. So you just show up here and it's obvious how to ask a question.

In the Forums it's different. There you must preselect a subform before the "Start a thread" button appears at the top of the page. So click the Forum tab, then select a subform from the main column, or choose from one of the "Forums" in the righthand column, then pick a subforum. "Recently Created Threads" looks like it might be a forum, but you can't click on the title bar in that section. You can click on all the others.

The next time someone tells you it takes a government to really screw things up, remember where Linden Lab has set the bar, and pay your taxes without complaint.
