Hello,

A friend of mine, Phil, told me about a problem he found on one of his rugs.

Here is what he said to me but unfortunately i couldnt find any answer :

Here's something odd. I sell rugs, among other things. For the last week
or so, I've kept noticing a little bar with buttons and a text box pop
up as I moved around the store. It always faded quickly so I didn't
bother about it, but today I decided to check it out, and I found that
it happens every time my cursor passes over a particular rug, and only
that rug. The rug is 1 prim, of course, and there's nothing in it.

The bar is concerned with media - media on a prim - and the textbox
shows the code for an extremely brief html page. It sets the background
to white, and that's all. It doesn't even have a URL. So it's a property
of the prim. The thing is, I didn't do it, so how on earth did the
rug/prim acquire that property?

I replaced that rug with a copy of the one in my inventory. The new one
doesn't have that property, so the old rug, which was also a copy of the
one in my inventory, and which I still have, acquired it while it was
rezzed and on sale. How could that happen?

I went to see the rug, and yes, there is a media bar, but even checking the properties of the rug, i cant find what is the problem..

Can someone help us, please ?

Thank you in advance :smileywink:

If you click the rug and go to edit then Textures, you'll see at the bottom of the dialog box something in the Media Field.  Simply hit the trash can icon to remove it.  The bar should disappear then.

This probably happened because your friend accidently dragged a texture into the media field.
