Question

Hi, im having alot of trouble getting inworld, i have tried everything, cleared cache, history and even a clean reinstall etc. My husband plays also and he has no problems getting inworld at all, it just seems to be me. :(.

The screen will load up and then as soon as i log in it crashes half way through the load up sreen....i get as far as it saying "loading world". then it crashes. My husband says that my afi shows up as online but on my side if the screen theres nothing.

I have no trouble loading pocket metaverse and usuing the chat client on my iphone but why cant i get inworld on my computer, i have had this problem for 2 days now.

Please can anyone make any suggestions and help me. Thanx in advance.

Check that your computer meets the System Requirements | Second Life.

Try this site to see if you can run SL. This is not perfect, but it should give you and idea. Can I Run Second Life?

When you ask a tech question include information about your computer and viewer. If the viewer will at least show the login screen, get the info from the viewer's Help-About... and paste that into your post with your question. Help->About... provides all the version numbers we need.  To add your info to an existing question use OPTIONS->EDIT. It’s in the upper right of your post.

It also helps to know if you are using a laptop or a desktop and a wired or wireless connection.

Without that information all we can do is guess. That means you have to try all our bad guesses and eliminate them one by one. This is easier for all of us, if you give us good information to start with.
