That's frustrating, but you've learned a valuable lesson:  WRITE DOWN the critical information for your account...the password, username, secret question and answer, and email address, and save them somewhere safe!

To recover from this, you'll need to open a Support Case with Linden Lab, using the Help/Support section of this website.  You will need to provide LL some information to prove that you are the person you claim to be, such as a scanned drivers license or birth certificate.
