How do you Make sure your rl name is the actual owner of an avatar?

I had an avatar put on hold for a theft on my account, they tell me that its not the right info i keep giving them, So i want to check my old avies and make sure i am truly the owner, yet i cant seem to find out that information, Anyone know how i can find it???

As far as I know, you can't see that information anywhere and I doubt that you can request it, as this is a very private information only LL and the rightful owner of an account should know....and the right owner of an account of course knows his/her own name. If you entered, for whatever reason, a false name when creating your account, you are out of luck and losing an account because of this is the price you pay for fooling around.

You can just hope a similar problem never happens with your other accounts or that you at least once picked your real name.

Unfortunately, you can not see directly the sign-up information you used when creating your account nor can you or anyone request that it be changed easily. So this leaves the possibility you used a nickname or accidentally mis-spelled your name when registering. You need to answer or to provide proof to Linden Lab's satisfaction that you are indeed the account holder of record.

Continue talking with LL using the contact method detailed in the email you recieved from LL. You need to get to the point where you will be provide real life identification in order for them to verify that the account is yours. At this time you can also request the correction of your identification information and security questions.
