Hello! My friend can't view Adult/Moderate Content!

He can't view adult or moderate content, because he put wrong the year. He is 18, & just turned 18 last year, & joined Second life yesterday. He cant view any content, but general due to a mistake when signing up for second life. May someone help please?

First of all please remove your friends name from your post! [Generally it's against the guidelines to post names.]

Second, he needs to contact LL in regards to this but that said, he's in a world of hurt.

The normal mistake [usually on purpose] is to put in a year earlier than your birth year to get that coveted Adult setting. In this case, LL is not sympathetic when you fess up later wanting something fixed that requires real world identification to be supplied. In this example, making a new account is the easier path.

However, this mistake, of selecting a birth year later than your real birth age, may also be met with scepticism. From LL's POV they will see this as an attempt for an adult to access teen areas.

Your friend needs to get this resolved ASAP if he just turned 18 and is willing to supply the needed identification so that 'that' bad characterization is not associated with his account.

In this case he needs to Submit a Support Case ASAP with all the pertinent details included and a proper drivers license scan attached.

On a personal note: Be ready for the reality that your friend is not who you think he is. If any of what I stated above is true then he'll forego any attempt to contact LL and supply a real life identification.
