Will take a peek at the free heads for sure and may well take Felicity up on her offer to help and yes I will be able to post a pic of my face, its one of the standard starter ones when you register but I have done some tweaks and I like it as it is:) @ Modulated. I had a feeling this would involve a fair amount of editing so I'm not shocked there. Thanks to all for the help

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. Have finally decided to go for a mesh head but I would like to keep my face as I like it as it is. I have the latest Maitreya Lara body but still have the original system head and I am assuming the skin also so my question is: Is there any way to get the mesh head but still keep my original facial features? Ok thanks for that. The delay before the avatars rez out of being orange clouds isnt usually a long time and takes longer when there are a lot of avatars in the sim but I never had this issue before. This seemed to start after I got windows 11 and uploaded the latest version of firestorm.

Hi Everyone. Just to get this straight from the start It is not MY AVATAR that is an orange cloud its everyone else. More often than not when I tp into another sim the other avatars in that sim are orange clouds for a short while and then eventually appear. My avatar is normal and there is nothing wrong with my inventory and it has all loaded fine. I have tried every setting I can think of and no one has been able to solve this to date. My connection is good and I have no issues with graphics or memory. I am using the firestorm viewer. Can anyone help? Thanks🙂

Hi, hope everyone is well. Thought I would have a go at an av using the free version of the Ebody Curvy body. Got her sorted but I have this annoying gap between the head and the neck. I have retained the original registration av head and not swopped it out for a mesh head so Im thinking this might be the issue. Anyone have any fixes for this without spending tons of cash on a mesh head and all the bits to go with it ? Thanks in advance 😊

Thanks for the replies but I am well aware of all the info everyone has given. I am simply asking if there is a device available, maybe an orb like device, that I can place in my skybox to prevent people caming inside? My thought is that maybe someone by now has come up with something by now as this is an age old issue

Hi Everyone😊 I have a rental skybox and the area is set up so that other people from other parcels cannot see in or chat with me but the issue is that other renters on the parcel I am on can cam right into my skybox. Have already reported one idiot for giving me repulsive comments whilst I was trying on some clothes. I feel I cannot report all the sleazy men that do or will do this so does anyone know of a device I can get that would maybe put a shield of sorts around the skybox to stop them caming me? @ Tarina It is Hard wired and I have excellent download and upload values. I did notice that there was a driver update for my graphics card which I have installed and am now logging on to see if that's made any difference. Have also done the calculation as recommended by firestorm and that sets me on the slider in prefs at 1500

Ok thanks for the reply😊 thing is though that until a few days ago I very rarely saw avatars as orange clouds and this is what is puzzling me. I have not changed anything in prefs or with my pc and my upload and download speeds for my connection are excellent.

I know for a fact that slink shoes work with the ebody curvy v8.6 female AV which was free and comes with the body, hands and feet. Hope this helps you out

Hi everyone. I expect this one has been done to death. I have searched the forums but cant find anything similar to what I am experiencing. Have the latest version of Firestorm installed at 64 bit. This never happened before but when going from sim to sim I am now finding some avatars are orange clouds and some are not. The clouds do go and the avatars rez after a short while. This has never happened before and I only used to see avatars as orange clouds as they were connected via a mobile phone. Have dropped my bandwidth setting by 100 to 1400 and this seems to have improved it a bit. Any ideas please on this one please? Thanks 😊
