[Distortion: Zoom in Tiny / Nano Prim]

I´ve started to create jewelry but I´m having too many problems when I need to zoom in to work with very very very very very small prims. I already disabled the camera constrains, tried to use many viewers and changed the camera angle.

When I zoom in very close the objects get very very distorced. Does anybody knows how can I work with that seeing the objects in a regular way, or if there is some viewer with special stuff for builders?

While taking the printscreen below I realised that my piercings looked fine. So can it be a problem of LOD?

Meu shape nem é dos melhores na vida real, nem meu cabelo é da Lelutka, mas confesso que meu senso para moda e estética mudou muito e pra melhor desde que entrei no Second Life. Quando entrei em 2007, levei muito do meu estilo real para dentro do metaverso, mas de algum tempo pra cá, o inverso tem acontecido. Já me peguei comprando roupas reais, algumas idênticas e que sou apaixonada no Second Life. Inúmeras vezes eu já compus um look na vida real, inspirando-me em meu avatar. Fica só faltando mesmo meus pumps da Lelutka, esses não encontro em lugar algum!

My shape is not the best in real life, neither my hair is Lelutka, but I confess that my sense for fashion and beauty and has changed a lot and for better since I started Second Life. When I joined in 2007, I took much of my real style into the metaverse, but some time down here, the opposite has happened. I have found myself buying real clothes, some identical and which I love in Second Life. Countless times I've created a look in real life, inspired by my avatar style. The only problem is that I cannot find my Lelutka Pumps. I cannot find them anywhere!

[How do you feel about content creators using templates?]

Like the others I also believe that the creativity makes the difference!
I know amazing designers who use base templates to create their best products.

[ English + Português ] Aprender novas técnicas para trabalhar no SL ajudam na RL?

Na vida real eu trabalho com marketing e design e tenho experimentado nos meus últimos trabalhos, aplicar algumas novas técnicas que aprendi por causa do Second Life. Recentemente fiz um anúncio impresso para a Samsung e usei alguns truques que aprendi editando as fotos de moda para a extinta InnerWorld Magazine.

Não é preciso ir tão longe, muitas pessoas não trabalham com design como eu, mas acredito que fazer fotos para compor looks de blogs, nos ajudem até a apurar o bom gosto para fazer fotos na vida real.

Já aconteceu com vocês?

[ English + Português ] Learn new techniques to work in Second Life Can help real life?

In real life I work with marketing and design and in my past works, I have tried to apply some new techniques I learned because of Second Life. Recently I did a print ad for Samsung and I used some tricks I learned diagramming the extinct InnerWorld Magazine.

There is no need to go that far, not every people like me work with design in RL, but I think that taking pictures to compose looks for blogs, can help us to establish the good taste to make pictures also in real life.

Has that already happened with you?

Eu assino os feeds pelo Google Reader. Hoje, só hoje, não li meus feeds, e tenho 626 posts pra ler, claro que muitos deles são repetidos. Não assino Flickr. Eu tava falando de blog mesmo. Não precisa ficar nervosa

Na verdade bons looks e fotos andam juntos. Nenhum blog com looks fodásticos fazem sucesso se as fotos são escuras ou mal posicionadas no espaço. O mesmo acontece com blogs com fotos foda porém com looks lixo.

Mas é fato que blogs com um bom layout e fotos boas, claras, nítidas têm mais seguidores. É preciso ver os itens com qualidade, não estou falando de revista. Aliás, qualidade de foto para revista e para blog não muda nada, com exceção do tamanho, porque bom gosto é universal. O mais importante é ter foto nítida, bonita. Não precisa ser uber tratada, basta ser CLARA (e não digo de brilho).

Quando eu falei de encontrar bons blogs pelos feeds, eu falei dos que me chamaram a atenção pelos 2 quesitos: fotos boas + qualidade. Tae um print dos meus feeds. Ainda preciso adicionar alguns ...  ^^

Aliás recomendo o google reader pra quem quer organizar seus feeds e blogs.

Sou assinante de feeds e através deles conheci alguns outros blogs que assinei individualmente. Acho interessante participar de feeds sim. Se o blog for de alta qualidade, com fotos arrasadoras, a pessoa pode ir diretamente nele e não estará dentre milhares de outros.

[Race--does it matter?]

I don´t represent a race but I guess I shouldn´t feel unconfortable if I had to. Once I made a fashion editorial for InnerWorld Magazine with black avatars, it really liked the result. Nowadays the skins are really amazing, there is a lot of options. I love everything =)

[Fashion Blogging in Native Languages]

Sasy !! I believe that Linden gave the first step and slowly people will post in other languages here. Asking portuguese speaking bloggers (including myself) for the Fashion Experts is really interesting and I see that like a big opportunity. I love, I really love speaking english, although I make some mistakes, but I´d really like to help brazilians to get involved and interact more with everybody and all the topics. My people soffers a lot because most of them doesn´t speak english. 

When we speak our native language we express ourselves much better, even if we speak english fluently. Its about being secure of what´s being said.

I´d like to see more posts here in many languages. If I find some that I don´t understand, google translator can helps me ^^

Engraçado. Skin já é algo que não vivo mudando não. Me interesso mais por cabelos a skins. Eu costumava mudar de skin ao procurar novidades para os editoriais de moda da Inner antes da Vick assumir. Cheguei a me identificar muito com Dutch Touch,  Glam Affair, mas hoje estou com Laq. Eu amo as skins da Laqroki, pelo menos a que ando usando tem tantos detalhezinhos ... hehehehe

[Como vc se atualiza for Second Life Fashion Expert Days]

Sou assinante de feeds de diversos blogs. Os blogs são a melhor propaganda instantânea para qualquer loja. Se o produto for de boa qualidade, será postado em um blog e a noticia corre meio que de boca em boca.  Assino muitos, muito mesmo. Marco os que me agradam e vou atrás. 

Não tenho um blog de moda, mas procuro sempre estar bem vestida, afinal meu look é meu cartão de visita para todos meus trabalhos dentro do second life.  

Há quem compre todos os lançamentos de uma determinada marca. Ser lançamento apenas não me interessa. Tem que ser interessante pro meu gosto e pro tipo de avatar que tenho no SL. A Thereaver tem um estilo mais fechado, não cotumo arriscar muito com ela não ou mudar demais. Compro o que é da identidade dela.
