Even after logging? I know I was confused the first time I tried this, because in the older versions the change was immediate. In viewer 2 you have to change the setting, log out, and log back in again before the changes take effect.

Thank you all. I do know about the preferences in Emerald - perhaps I was not clear enough in my question. I was asking about the new (official SL) viewer because I am used to this preference in Emerald, and with the new viewer my head was moving around all over the place and it was annoying me. lol. Thank you for taking the time to answer though, much appreciated!

Thank you, Cinnamon I am used to Emerald but figured I'd give this new Viewer2 a shot. The first thing that stood out to me was the head movement as I'm not used to seeing it anymore. lol.

I know about AO's and animation priorities, and I'm assuming that my AO is not priority 4 because my head still moves when I move the mouse. Is there a debug setting that will keep the avatar head from moving like this?

I think, though don't quote me on this, that sexual harrassment in a setting like SL is different than it would be in RL...like most other things. I could understand her being upset if you had approached her that way in RL, say, at work...because that would be considered sexual harrassment in most companies. Here though, especially on a roleplaying sim that is specifically about sex, I would not say you harrassed her in any way. You initiated conversation because you assumed she was there to roleplay, and that's why the subject came up at all. When she told you she wasn't interested, you left her alone. As for your second question, there are a couple of blog posts addressing just that, and from what I understand any chat logs taken and posted outside of SL or secondlife.com is not a TOS violation.
