Late last Friday, the US Department of Justice (DoJ) published its new interpretation of the Wire Act of 1961, concluding that “interstate transmissions of wire communications that do not relate to a ‘sporting event or contest’ fall outside of the reach of the Wire Act”. Thanks for the discussion links. I am seeking an official Linden Labs policy response. I had a leading business in this area before the ban. And may consider reinvesting in SL if the ban is lifted.
