Thanks very much. Logging in at a different location was the solution.

I've been trying to log in for about 2 hours, but I keep getting the message "Login packet never received by login server." The progess bar gets all the way to "Waiting for region handshake" before showing the error message. I thought maybe this was part of the problem with logins due to the server maintenance, but that's been cleared up. Any suggestions from veterans?
