And so lucky that they did not return all the high quality landscaping details and put in a prim with a lawn texture instead...

Or is it rentals, and they can't return it?

🤣 Just lucky they like what I did! Nope no rentals! I think most residential mainlanders do want a parcel that looks nice on the ground...they just don't know how to start. Plus it's easier to maintain if your surrounding neighbors do it too.

@Elise Fugazihow is it that so many people with good taste end up so close? It is a really fine neighboorhood. I think your home is best placed and with the best garden :)

And the Cedar house from Onsu on the other side of the road look really great too.

:D I actually landscaped the entire neighborhood minus my neighbor beside me and the community center at the end of Kot on Route 9A is also my own. I've been really fortunate to become good friends with all the land owners so it's a nice little random community.

You really made the best out of the Onsu Hollywood house. It is that house, right?

    I think I must visit, @Elise Fugazi😍

I have not bought it, since the basement would give me problems. I do not like to live in a skybox, I prefer the ground. I have just moved out from Bay City, where terraforming is not allowed, and my other place is only water.

Yup it's the Onsu Hollywood House!! Please visit when you can :D

I'm on the ground too so it was definitely tricky since you can only terraform so deep on mainland so I went as deep as I could then built up so the house is on a little hill of sorts. It actually worked out and blends with the rest of the neighborhood. Driving up the driveway is always fun LOL but other than that it works well as long as you have enough land to gradually slope back down on all sides.

  4. Finally for the bar/playroom area I wanted it to feel like a glamorous speakeasy. So I went darker there as well and wanted to use the different wood textures to highlight the space. Gotta have your wine fridge and your humidor (for the cigar lovers).

I loved having different accent walls to section out spaces without taking away for the room and I wanted to mix the fabrics with velvet and leather.

A pool table is a must - I actually play it a lot :D but didn't want it to just be there so I added a chandelier and living moss walls behind the glass. I love the color plants give.

That's it for now... but love how the overhaul is coming along! Feel free to visit my home! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kot/54/113/59

  5. For my bedroom i wanted a glitzier feel so I went even deeper with my tones. I love statement accent walls and I wanted something that I could look at and smell the leather.

I wanted to make more use of the bedroom space so I decided to build out a little walk in closet enclosed with glass so everything still felt open.

I love the little details in decorating on SL like the curtain bar across the floor to ceiling windows and the ruched curtains at the end. I'm currently making scripted curtains that will open and close alongside the entire wall of windows.

  6. Continuing my interior overhaul of my house in Kot with my bedroom I wanted warmth and texture.

I found a picture of a beautiful bathroom in an interior design magazine and decided to re-create it for my bathroom. I didn't like how the standard Onsu Hollywood House as a bathroom entrance to the balcony so I took out the door and windows and replaced it with black accent windows.

Where the stairs used to be leading to the bathroom from the balcony I opted to create a green space that would add color to the bathroom and the outdoor seating area next to it.

  7. It's been a while but redid my home in Kot. Since then I've helped to landscape the neighbors' properties alongside Route 9A in Kot as well.

I absolutely fell in love with the Onsu Hollywood House when I first saw it and knew it's what I wanted to switch to. Feel free to come by and check it out as well as the other homes! Currently working on landscaping my neighbor's parcel across the street so if you see me say hi!

This was actually the dining room set up for Friendsgiving but it's since now been changed back to a table with a lot less chairs :D

I love the original feel of this Onsu house but I wanted it to be warmer

Most of the rooms are still a thought in progress - like my bathroom upstairs 😅

How do you sell land with things on it if they are no transfer things? Does it work?

I got a 2048 I landscaped--I could try to sell with all the stuff on it, but none of it is transfer stuff.

    Hi Fay!!

No it doesn't work if it's no transfer. So I tell people buying the land that you are buying it because it is landscaped, furnished & etc....whatever you don't want you can return

I found that there are lots of people out there who want to live in mainland but are overwhelmed or discouraged with the landscaping aspects of it (especially if it's ground level) so I think you should put up your 2048 parcel for sale....and just let them know they can keep what they like or return what they don't like.

  10. This gorgeous Hamptons inspired estate is brought to you by Beautify Mainland. This fully landscaped parcel is right on Route 10 in Jeogeot and is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood with chill neighbors. The estate features an Onsu home (4 bedrooms/ 2 and a half bath) fully decorated with a family in mind - 3D Animated Pool with Very Fun Waterslide, plenty of space for parties and hanging out!! The photos don't do it justice....so if you are hunting for you next family estate this one is for. With all Beautify Mainland mainland sales you keep what you want and return what you don't like!
