That does make sense. I got the comp form a family member and before I picked it up he did a clean sweep/system restore. I'll see to getting that done. Thanks very much for everyone's help :-)

My old comp went out and am now using a laptop with WIndows7 instead of WindowsXP. The log in is fine and the default graphic settings are high but almost everything is hot pink. Some things will rezz in correctly but the majority is this bright ugly pink color. This doesn't happen with any other page/program, only SL. I'm getting my signal off a wireless emitter, but It's for a home not an apartment & the signal read is stable. I am STUMPED. Any help would be much appreciated.
