You must have extreme patience, customer services, enthusiasm, and over the top professionalism. You MUST have compassion and understanding for each client to fulfill their needs from start to finish. You will be expected to perform a Bridal Consultation, a Wedding Rehearsal, and all together Wedding. This is a paid position plus 100% tips, Commission, per hour on sales. We do offer Full Training!

Folks, this is a Legit and respectable job. No nudity, No nasty tasks asked to perform. No need to worry about where to come up with those emotes to make a room full of men want to toss lindens at you... No, those days are over, Second Life has outgrown them. And NOW here we are, Serendipity Weddings and Events. Now, we have a VERY nicely stacked staff!!
Truthfully not much need to add to it currently, however, we are about to hit busy season and we are focused on the staff that stands out above the rest. We are looking for the normal stuff, Polite, smart, open minded, patience, etc.. we also are seeking a few with leader skills. We want to see you reach out and do your thing, think outside the box. To keep this short and simple, I have a vision in my mind of something I want built on my sim. It involves some commercial buildings mixed with landscaping, trees, plants, etc. While this is a one time build there is a very high possibility we would want to hire you for future builds.
So we are looking for someone that is detailed, imaginative, skilled and affordable of course. Please contact me IN world (Leona Kitty) with some examples of your work. These are PAID positions plus 100% tips plus commission!!!
For a Photographer, It takes a person with a good eye for lighting and position to do a beautiful studio shot, exceptional editing skills, and a lot of experience taking photos. It takes an entirely different person to do shots at a wedding. You much have patience, be assertive, be super organized and communicate well. We have several highly skilled photographers on staff but there is just too many photos to work on and so little time. SO we are looking for a couple of photographers that already have the skills needed and we can just train them on how to do weddings. This is also a paid position plus 100% tips role.
While we do understand the need to have an income in SL, we also ask that you be at least 90 days in SL. If for some reason you are a returning member with a new account, an alt, etc but you do have the experience please fill out the app and tell us a little about that. While we will absolutely train you to be the best in your role with us, we do not have the spare time to help teach anyone about SL in general.
We are looking for people that are ready to begin working immediately.

So the greatest thing happened, a very old post of ours got bumped and reminded me that YES we do need more staff! We are just about to dive into the beginning of Wedding Season and we are already busier than we said we would allow! Before we keep passing up even more weddings lets add to our already super awesome team!! Some things have changed, Here are the following positions we are hiring for:
Wedding Coordinators (Seeking 2): In order to perform this role you must be able to voice as you will be the one barking out the orders for your clients weddings. You must be super detailed oriented and ridiculously friendly. Be compassionate and understanding. And know how to be there for your clients when they need you.
Coordinators perform the Bridal Consult meeting, the Rehearsal and The Wedding. This is a paid plus 100% tips role. We do offer full training.

Serendipity Weddings has been so incredibly busy that we were not able to take our normal breaks during this past off seasons as we did not get one. No vacations, no family reunions, no time away. Realizing that our supposed slow time has come and gone and we never got slow, we are about to head into busy season again for the holidays.
We are currently seeking a one of a kind Personal Assistant that can step in, be a fast learner, willing to actually listen, respect the current staff. Someone that can give us that peace of mind that makes me feel I can take time away and know the job is still getting done.
Top requirements: Honesty, Loyalty, Confidentiality, Reliability, Professionalism.
Must be amazing at keeping up with our facebook, blog posts, our forums and transferring information over. Assisting with assigning wedding teams based on fairness and client request. Some landscaping ,color changes and texturing of venues and items. Overseeing appointments. Contacting guests we missed and showing them around.
All of this while providing a daily report back to management each day. It is preferred you set up an office on our sim so you can keep track of guests that land and staff that assists. Pay will be discussed and based on experience.
Please send your SL Resume with a cover letter telling us why you are the best fit for this position. Failure to not follow these steps completely will be an automatic denial. We take following instructions VERY seriously. Oh last thing.... Weddings are done on weekends. Sorry, if you are not available to watch over the sim on Weekends, this is NOT the right job for you. Not only will you be a huge part of the couples planning and the day of, but you will be the one that knows everything about that wedding and ensuring that their day is as perfect as it can be. Working alongside management, you will do a consultation, rehearsal and the wedding day for every event! Obviously this is one of the most varied roles we have so a must is the ability to adjust, take responsibility and do it while wearing a poker face (Lady Gaga style!) is a must!
📷 Photographer/Capturer of memories: As a photographer, you are one of the most creative parts of this business. You can see angles, beauty and Wind lights like no one else can and uses them to better your craft. Signing on to work with us, is not the end of your own business. We want to foster a relationship with you so you truly can have it all! A good Flickr, turn around time and positive, professional attitude is a must for this role as photos is a huge part of a couples wish list on the day of their wedding day - We allow our couples to choose the photographers that matches with their personal style best
🎧 DJ: We work with some of the best DJ's around SL - the DJ Hall of fame is definitely showed off here! Versatility, personality and the ability to be as professional as you can be while showing off your unique style is a big one here. You must be willing to voice and make announcements and work well within a team environment as well as independently We believe in cross-training and will offer opportunities to all staff to keep training and learning other roles so they can earn while they learn as well as really become a part of the company. This is not like any other business. We do have a few positions in our company that do not require voice. And personally we just do not come across people anymore that don't voice. I know there are some out there and mostly they do not for either health reasons or opposite sex but since we have no issue with who you are as an individual, they always end up in voice with us. We have such a fun and friendly staff that a lot of them sit in discord to just chat. If someone was to apply but for the Sales position but for whatever reason did not want to be a Coordinator, we could work with them on this and not needing voice.
We do try to be as understanding as possible. There are some positions of course where its just impossible to do and not use voice and Yes, we have tried.
