Tish Noel

Very recently, Chrome will not open the "Visit this location" button. Previously, I had no problem with Firestorm doing so. Now nothing happens - no message at all. I haven't changed any settings for either Chrome or Firestorm so I'm at a loss for how to fix this. I tried to use the SL viewer but that keeps referencing a different viewer and I cannot figure out how to get it to change to Firestorm (it is set as my default viewer). Any ideas?

I've been trying to get "home" in Beliandro since 6AM this morning (now 1:13PM) - what is up? The whole sim seems to be missing. I've seen it go through a restart but why would it be this long? I have meeroos to check on (they run away if not fed) so I need to get in ASAP. Anybody else having this problem? Tish :matte-motes-sick:

Okaaayyy - finally found out the problem. I had placed a platform that had an invisiprim on it and had raised the invisiprim. This was blocking the clicking - lowered it & VOILA - everything is back to normal. Thanks for all the suggestions though - I really appreciated the help! Tish :matte-motes-big-grin-wink:

I doubt it is the mouse since 3 different computers are involved (including my laptop that has no mouse). It also just started happening midday yesterday - no problem in the morning but by lunch time no left clicky to sit or read the Meeroos. I will continue to investigate and if I find the problem, I will post again. Tish

Thanks for all the suggestions but no dice - after tryinig/checking your suggestions, it still doesn't work. Funny that it is affecting both the SL viewer and Firestorm.. The only thing I have placed recently has no scripts in it at all and since I cannot do this at any location, I figured it must be some setting that changed. The mystery continues...... Tish

Since yesterday midday, I have been unable to left click to sit on pose balls, etc.. I have to right click, choose Sit Here to be able to sit. I also have Meeroos and can no longer just left click to get their information in my HUD - again must righ click and choose Touch in order for this to work. Since this is happening in both my SL and Firestorm viewers and I have made no changes to any settings, what could be causing this? Thanks, Tish :smileyfrustrated:

I was wondering just when the tier rate would change if I sold a piece of land and it dropped me below the amount for my current tier. Does it change as of the next billing (in my case July 10th) or does it change the following billing (Aug 10th)? A little confused about this - it doesn't take much these days! lol Tish :matte-motes-grin:

I guess I won't be using the newest version of viewer2 at work - trying to click on anything that brings up a dialogue box that references the internet brings up a "Mature" rating through our firewall. I guess its back to one of the older viewers for me..... Tish :matte-motes-confused:

Agreed - I've been in SL for a few years and sometimes the advanced settings on anything take some time to figure out. Hope this can be fixed soon - used to love popping around looking at the different property for sale but since this started, haven't been doing that very much - too much like work! LOL Tish

IMO, one of the things that was messed up after the 2.x viewer was instituted was that when you searched for something, the search box would not remain onscreen after teleporting or at least be minimized. It disappears completely and you have to keep re-entering the same information if you didn't find what you wanted the first time. I thought that the new "Search"viewer was supposed to address this along with the skewed search results that we were getting. Is this not the case? I tried the new viewer but the search box STILL disappears after teleporting and I have to re-enter everything yet again. This is particularly aggravating if you are looking for property since you have to re-enter your keyword, set it to mainland (or private), re-set the area or price, etc., etc. Will this ever be taken care of?
