  1. Hi Bree! Eyebrow shapes are not affected and can be seen by other residents. I have also tested this to make sure any changes to eyebrows (particularly height) are visible to other users of V2. You can make a new hairbase from scratch for beards etc. using V2 however it is still not visible to other V2 users

Hello Currently, facial hair features are invisible to other Viewer 2 users. Please see JIRA report for more information. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25441 Best regards, Mikey
  3. That is exactly right Kirsten's viewer clearly shows the chin correctly, albeit the facial hair settings using the default hair created by LL is visible to other Kirsten's Viewer users. Please do feel free to try it out for yourself, I'd be interested if you achieved the same result! Dresden I may amend the JIRA report a little bit to note that facial hair settings are completely invisible to other users of Viewer 2 because the magnitude of the bug is bigger than I imagined. So far according to my tests, the official viewer is the only viewer which cannot allow users to see the these bald bases on other avatars.
  4. Thanks for all your attention guys. I'm actually going to try this using Kirstens Viewer and see if I am able to see the chin correctly. I'm hoping this gets enough attention to be fixed in future releases
  5. Thanks for your response guys! Dresden is exactly right. The chin shaper forms part of the default hair (or bald base) which can be edited manipulating the Facial Hair sliders, particularly the Hair Thickness and Soulpatch options. I'd be happy to send you a full permission Chin Shaper each when I'm in world next. I'd be interested to know if people who use Viewer 2.0 actually see the change as I cannot see it on others nor can others see it on me, although I can see it on myself. As for which version of 2.0, I can tell you that it's always been a case since I started using a chin shaper about 6 months ago so I would imagine it has affected all the viewers with 2.0 architecture. Yikes! Any more feedback would be greatly appreciated guys!
  6. Hi everyone Could anyone tell me if the facial hair settings for male avatars when editing system created hair (or bald base for eyebrows) are visible to Viewer 2.0 users? I have been wearing a popular 'chin shaper' sold by a designer in SL and I've had reports from Viewer 2.0 users that they are unable to see my defined jawline properly. Users of third-party viewers such as Phoenix are able to see the chin shape properly! As a model in SL, I have previously described the chin shaper as follows: "A bald base with a chin shaper is quite popular amongst male avatars in SL who wish to achieve a more square jaw look. This is achieved by editing a hair created by Second Life and adjusting the sliders under 'Facial' tab, namely the 'Hair Thickness' and 'Soulpatch' options. Used correctly, an attractive square jawline may be achieved." Naturally, I'd like everyone to see me as I see myself on my own screen :) Any ideas anyone? :)
  7. Thank you for your commentary Wright. Unfortunately for some reason, others cannot see my adjustments nor can I see other people's adjustments using Viewer 2. Any ideas?
  8. I use a bald base with a 'chin shaper' which are commonly sold by various stores in SL with skins. The facial hair options when editing hair, particularly the 'Hair Thickness' and 'Soulpatch' sliders can be used to create a more defined jawline. Viewer 2 users have reported that they are unable to see this on their screen however users of third-party viewers such as Phoenix can. Does anyone know anything about this? I've been wearing a chin shaper for 6 months and it's only come to my attention LOL I've also filed a JIRA report too for more information:https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25441 Thanks! xo
