Hi! So I've just started building and designing. I really want to improve my skills, but unfortunately SL is eating up my video card (which it tends to do). I have an HP Pavillion DV6 with an AMD Radeon graphics card. I've had it about two years and the poor thing is overheating any time I even keep SL up on my screen for longer than a few minutes. Forget, camming around and building! So, my question is, does anyone know any good specs for a computer that can withstand heavy SL use (as well as heavy website design/photoshop use) and will last me a good long while? I was thinking I might get a Mac next, but I am looking for longevity of both the machine and the graphics card. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated! Thank you :)

They are fairly expensive, that's why I wondered if anyone was renting. It's much more economic in the short term.

Well with the imminent demise of Pepita Estates, my partner and I are really pretty bummed. Pepita had some great ReBourne prefab rentals and we were in one for months, blissfully enjoying our mesh haven. Does anyone know of any other prominent rental place that has ReBournes available. Or, failing that, a reasonable empy skybox renter? I've searched and come up empty. Thanks in advance!
