Previously an open stage club Bliss@Ibiza is looking for dj`s and hosts for weekly events on Friday/Saturday and Sunday evenings/night (gmt time zone)
if enough interest , these times will be extended to cover other time zones .......

@ Crim Mip .......it is possible to have a homestead sim without owning or buying a full sim . Of course you will not own it .........but you will be renting it with estate managers rights usually. There are many land estate agents in sl. Many people do this in sl and often the tier fee can be cheaper(or equivalent ) to what you would pay to LL if you purchased the sim from them .....

I was browsing on marketplace for stuff for my sim , when I noticed an item by a well known designer in SL ( I will not name them
) and the price for the item was 200,000l . OK , it might have been for a whole sim design ..........but do people really pay so much for things in sl ...............I have been in SL for over 10 years now and whilst I appreciate the hard work and effort that goes into some items ,asking 200,000l seems ridiculous ! What do others think ?

have you got a friend who dj`s ?............500 lindens paid to anyone who recommends a dj who then plays a set at Bliss @ Ibiza . the 500 lindens will be paid after the dj performs ........
dj must play Ibiza style music ......electro, trance , edm, house , chilled beats , etc etc .......if in doubt ask

good luck with that , we have been advertising for awhile and while the post gets lots of views , not 1 reply .........and also if you check any of the other ads for dj`s they have not had any replies either ...........so either theres not enough dj`s to cover all the clubs in sl .........or they are only djing at the top few clubs ..........which maybe good for them but not very good for the diversity of sl ............. maybe need to learn to dj yourself !

why when I try to play media through a prim (like I used to be able to ) do I keep getting a google alert covering it asking me to review key points in privacy settings. I have done this repeatedly and yet still nothing changes ?? is this an sl issue or has youtube or google changed something ?

whenever I try to play youtube vids through a prim using media , they get covered by a google screen saying I need to review keypoints of googles privacy policy ........I have reviewed that over and over .....and yet it still appears ..............why????

I recently bought a full perms mesh model ,which appears to be made with several linked meshes. I wish to unlink one part of it and delete it so I can replace it with something else .I can "unlink " it and even copy the individual mesh but not delete it ?? Am I trying to do something that is not possible in sl ? After unlinking it and copying , the original mesh part is still there .

well yeah , I think that is a problem a lot of people have in sl ...........after , the initial phase of exploring , learning to build and/or script , clubs, music ,(not forgetting the obvious) etc etc ........what is there left to do ? well many and this includes myself get into roleplay , this gives you a reason for being in sl , and also a fun way of interacting with new friends . There are lots of roleplay sims , do not be put off by all the Gor sims (,if thats not your thing ) there are many , many other types of roleplay sims . From ancient times through to modern times ......something for everyone

well i guess the reason for changing the system of naming avs was theres only so many names to be used in the world:}} as for your comments on being creative with mesh , but not with prims and textures .........I dont really understand how anyone can find mesh easier , unless they are doing something similar as a career or educational study , but i guess people like you will be the future of sl ........... well, at least as long as it lasts .........

yeah , I can understand that ....and it probably answers the question of who plays sl ? a certain percentage are obviously new to sl so still going through the "in awe" phase ... and another percentage use it as an extension of social media and, the rest are probably in sl for " creative " reasons ......ie ..building , or scripting .........which as already mentioned earlier has become difficult because of the learning curve to creating with mesh ......and also for most scripting ( except for possibly simple copy & paste) also seems a more difficult learning curve which most people are simply unwilling to do.So i guess the whole creative content of sl has been changed by the arrival of mesh ........... whereas before almost anyone could build ,so you got all sorts of weird and wonderful designs , now its only a very few who are adept at mesh who are creating the future of sl with their rather somewhat limited ideas .........thats not meant to offend any creators ..., just means if more are to create , you get more variety

well thats another issue there which may have changed sl somewhat .......LL allowing teens into sl , maybe if the new people arriving in sl are not in fact alts of existing avs , but teen players .....then that would probably explain the lack of social interaction and the attitude of some ...... but they are usually easy to spot ........

yes maybe, as someone else suggested , these "new" people are no longer exploring as much because in fact they are not new but merely new alts of existing players ......... so they would have no need to explore having already done so . Or is that me being cynical ?

yes , I agree ........a lot more sims , usually with just one or two people in them ...........which is hardly encouraging for social activities ............maybe the solution would be for LL to make sim ownership more difficult .......with the reasoning being more social interaction .........or maybe limit the uses of sim ownership .........ie , no sims for private residences only ........ but of course that will never happen because of the fall in revenue for LL ....... but we can all wish

If you need software that can stream to a Shoutcast server , why are Icecast streams available in sl ? Do they have a use ?
