I suggest You install the default viewer and try logging in through that. If it works then You should be able to log back out then log into the FS viewer without issue. If it does not work contact Linden Customer Support and let them know there in an issue.
As a side note, items can be removed if they are found to be forgeries by one of the teams at Linden Labs that look for such things.
It can feel like it takes ages when You need to scratch the Second Life itch but the servers are down. But yes, when the issues are resolved, They will most definately update the grid status.
