I upgraded my operating system from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, and I could not open Second Life Viewer for incompatibility. Then I uninstalled it with the intention of installing it again, but Windows 8.1 did not allow it. You know what someone should do so that it can install without problems again? Thank you. I thank Lisha Joya and Lane KarenMichelle their advice to overcome my problem when wanting to install the official Second Life viewer in the Windows 8.1 operating system , but , despite having completely uninstalled and deleted the folders that I suggested , my problem remains. And what happens to me is this: When I click the installation file Second Life , Second_Life_3 - 6-10 - 282997_Setup.exe , I get a window which asks me the language of the installer. I reply " Spanish " and I give "ok" . Next window asks " Installer Directory " and I suggested : C : \ Program Files ( x86 ) \ SecondLifeViewer , I reply "OK " . Next window : " Second Life : installing. Checking network connection ... " And just at that moment , it crashes , no progress and not installed . And I have internet connection. I've checked everything. I think it should be a problem of configuring the new Windows 8.1 operating system , I do not know and for which I ask for help . Is no one to whom this has happened ? .
