Out of interest...what happens if one doesn't pay group liabilities (say, they have 0L in their account) and then decide to quit SL? Is that an outstanding debt?

SL's definitely hugely different for me now compared to four years ago. When I joined in 2010, it swallowed up a huge amount of my leisure time - these days, I rarely log on more than once a week, and rarely stay on for more than an hour. This could be because SL has changed or I have, but I must admit to missing the days when you'd seemingly run into random characters everywhere - vampire clan recruiters, beggars, the obligatory Gor couple, nutters and people in superhero costumes. Playing 'sim roulette' on world map search always unearthed something interesting. Again, I could have enjoyed it more then as it was all a novelty to me back then, but it seems SL has become a lot more predictable in the past 12-18 months - can't remember the last time I saw a club, build or event that made me think 'Wow, this is great'. I think I'd be more interested in returning regularly if I was extremely skilled at scripting or building. I still love the concept of SL, I just find it harder to feel the same excitement about it anymore.

OK, I know this post might be contentious but I'd rather not get into the moral aspects of it. Suffice to say, after more than 3 years of being on SL, I am considering, for the first ever time, buying some weapons to defend myself. I don't own land so pretty much depend on sandboxes to build. Over this time, I've been personally attacked by somebody with a scripted weapon approximately once a fortnight. More commonly, I've had to leave due to disruption or malicious scripts crashing the place or rendering it unusable. My BS tolerance level has, frankly, reached its limit. So, I'm wondering - if I want to hit back, can anyone recommend what weapons to get? I've searched MP but there's so many guns and HUDs on there it can be confusing to know what to get. For my purposes what I'd like (and what I've seen others use on SL) would be: a) something that when worn and if I run into the avatar, sends them flying across the sim (for people deliberately rezzing stuff around me or top on me when I'm building) b) whatever it is that shoots flashing lights all over the viewer until it grinds to a total halt (this seems the most effective way of stopping someone in their tracks) Any advice on brands/makes would be appreciated. And for anybody tutting at this, to conclude - I am not a griefer, I want some sort of defence against griefers. And please don't tell me to just sit on an object or go elsewhere - I have no income on SL so depend on public sandboxes, and why should I constantly be the one to leave?

Hi, I'm Paypal linked and have saved up a few thousand Ls, which I'd like to cash out into RL - only, when using the Lindex, I encounter a message 'You have exceeded your daily trading limit - your trading limit is $0.00" when I click to confirm the sell. Does anybody know what this means, or how to lift the restriction? I'm not sure what to do. Checked my account details and the Paypal account is clearly there.
