Thank you Anne! Always respect your advice! My tendency was toward a free copy. My concern is that I'm too much of a pushover for things like this and wanted to see how others handle it to be sure I'm being fair to me too! I agree the simplest solution is best. I could end up arguing far longer than the couple of hundred $L are worth!

I had a customer buy an item from me through the marketplace that was no copy / mod / trans. I received the standard email verifications and such for the purchase including the transaction report. Also, my marketplace info has marked this sale as delivered. The person contacted me 13 hours after the purchase and said the they Did receive the item but then crashed and no longer has the item in their inventory. They want a replacement. What are your thoughts on this? My feeling is that they are either just trying to get a free copy for a friend, or maybe they modified it in a way that they can't get back together and just want to replace it. I'm confident that I don't owe them another copy. But, should I give them one anyway for the sake of friendly business?

I save to .tga format all the time. It's not difficult at all. Just "Save As...", tga type and title it of course. It will then ask if you want to save as several different bit/pixel settings, (16, 24, or 32). 24 bit is non alpha. 36 bit for transparancy textures. So just "Save As..." then select 32 bits/pixel when prompted, and that's it! Good Luck with your tatts! :smileywink:

Daria! I love to read your posts too! I usually don't respond to your posts for two reasons. One: I'm very afraid of being shot down in front of my peers by some one whos opinion I regard so highly, and 2: I just normally can't find any reason to dissagree with you! (when your right, you don't have to keep an open mind!) But I would have to say in this case that it's just plain Griefing. I know it seems odd that someone "in-world" as long as you and at your stature would have to deal with something normally reserved for the poor noobs that know no better. Griefers seem to know how to play that twist game quite well. "Harrass" and "accuse" may be the title of their strategy, and it works. Sometimes. On noobs. But in this case, they picked on someone that isnt as easily defeated. I would chaulk this one up as an LOL moment! Of all the things you could have said, you just stuck to the facts by calling her an attention whore! I'm sure the labs will have a nice lmao over this also. BTW if you smelled like bacon I'd never leave your front porch!
