  1. Hello, my name is Brieya, I've been building for myself in SL since 2009. I've recently run into a strange hiccup with one of my textures. I uploaded this texture back in October '23 to use in our Halloween event at a club I volunteer at for DJs' sets. The original prims textured with the blue flutters works fine, no distortions, as do the others I uploaded with it. Size of texture is 1024x512, base is sculpty prim for the original stage arrangements. Toggle is .tga for all the textures of the flying flutters. Program used: Gimp. Last week, someone saw the blue flutters and expressed an interest in buying it. So I told them I would make a set for them, fitting regular needs and LI concerns. I have the butterfly prim in both sculpty and mesh. I have used both before without issue. Until last week. Now, with the blue flutters, and ONLY the blue flutters, it broke the image on application. I've cleared my cache, cleared on my pc, Win10, double checked my graphic drivers, you name it, I can't see to fix this issue. It has NOT affected the other images uploaded at the same time. The alpha blender is acting like a mask. No, changing it doesn't fix the image. Refreshing doesn't fix the image. I have tried to re-save the image from Gimp with new names, different extensions, the test view of the image is the exact same broken appearance. Changing graphic paint programs doesn't change it for the blue flutters. It seems to be very focused on this one image. The flying set up image. The original image with just the one flutter meant for pictures comes in clear as day, all the fine details. As I said, the original flutter painted jobs and the ones made at the same time in October all have remained stable, clear, and functional. But applying the blue flutter texture is broken, even on testing with new saves. It doesn't matter if it is prim, sculpty, or mesh. I've gone over the details of the older projects with the new to see if there is any changes in the numbers/build defaults, nothing is different between the new build or old. The only difference is that no matter what new thing I apply the blue flutter texture too, it is broken, muddled, as if a mask, not a alpha blend while alpha blend is checked. I've tried different viewers, Original and Firestorm. They both have this issue. So somewhere between SL and my PC, on this one image, no matter what it is called, how it is saved, changed, etc, it shows up broken on test & the original upload stays broken. All drivers, viewers, and anything else I could think of have been checked, verified, cache cleared, and nothing shows up on google search as though no one else has had this problem. Picture shows the broken next to the original build for Oct '23.
  2. I'm developing animations using QAnimator, and for some reason, my sitting positions are coming up with the legs straight out in front on the upload into SL. I have set the value to 4, I have tried several youtube videos to trouble shoot this through the program itself, and I keep having the demo show the legs are not down like they are suppose to be for sitting down. The upper torso moves as animated, but not the lower half. What the problem, and how do I fix it?
