    yes that is true but I made a Kwant Resident alt the other day so no other twit would pretend to be me and there was nothing to tell me not to use Linden. We all know but do they make it clear to new people? Or is the person we are talking about not new, in which case she should have known better than to play with the Linden name. Don't get me wrong I am no Linden lover, I think they are mostly a bunch of tossers but I do know I would get squished if trying in any way even if only by eye to appear to be one I would likely get into trouble.

    you can just PM lovee Foehammer and they it seems control Lexie Linden so will get me sorted out toutes de suites, not that I give a monkeys

    Camera Controls -- gone forever?

    Well unless you recoded the UI the option to have your camera controls on screen is still there, and I just checked you cannot even slide them off the screen as you can with some huds (you can however slide them real close to the edge so check to see if you have done that). So I would suggest you relog in the first instance and see if that sorts it, failing that, uninstall and reinstall sl

    Well it would rather depend if you are premium or not, if you do not pay your premium account bill your account is eventually deactivated as far as I understand things. Whereas is you are non premium your account just continues whether you are in sl or not.

    Hi there you need to open the second life viewer and enter your avatar name and password in order to participate inworld. You will find the viewer in your applications folder of your hard drive.

     

    Message was edited by: Kwant Capalini: If in fact you have not yet downloaded the viewer you will find it on the main SL website under downloads, just choose the one appropriate for your computer, then once opened you will be able to log in and access the world of Second Life.

    What happens if I experience problems when I try to verify my identity?

    The new age verification feature is in beta. Please be patient as we continue to improve the feature. We are committed to making sure the process is as smooth and user-friendly as possible; however, we understand that this represents a change for Residents. We have also tested the system extensively with our systems provider, Aristotle-Integrity, which has delivered this type of technology to other companies. If you continue to have problems verifying your identity, please go to the Second Life Support Portal and submit a ticket (select Special Questions - Basic account or Guest Login from theTicket Type dropdown, select Account Issues from the next dropdown, and choose Manual Age Verification from the next).

    Please attach electronic (scanned) copies of the following materials:

    • Government issued identification that has your date of birth clearly displayed. This identification should be one or more of the following:
      • Birth Certificate
      • Driver's License
      • Passport
    • A utility bill with your name and address clearly displayed.
    To attach a file to your ticket:
    1. Log into the Second Life Support Portal and click the My Support History tab.
    2. Click the Ticket # of the age verification ticket you submitted.
    3. Click the Comment button.
    4. Click the Attach a file link.
    5. Browse for the file on your computer and click Open.
    6. To attach another file, click the Attach another file link.
    7. Click the Submit button.
    8. The files you specified will be uploaded and attached to the ticket.

    Please expect manual verification to take 5-7 working days.

    no unless you both create a new account with the same last name or if the last name is still available one of you creating a new account to match that name, bearing in mind you will not be able to give your new account non trans inventory

    Crashing when taking pictures

    I had this happen to me for a while and in the end I did a clean reinstal of the sl client and all was well after, well as far as the pics went I still fell off the various trees, rooves and whatnot that I was standing on to take said pictures but then hmm I suppose that was karma

    I owe 1 Linden?
