I went back to 1.23, it is called Local Chat, a popup chat window that can be activated by typing / outside all widnows. It is an essential feature. How do you exit V2.3? I clic exit and everything freezes, I have to use Windows Task Manager to exit Second Life in V2.3 This sucks, I'm back to 1.23 until they get the bugs out.

In 1.23 I could type the / character with focus anywhere in the screen and get a chat window popup. I use it exensively and it allows you to keep a group chat open while typing on non zero channels. How do I get it to work in V2.3?
