WOW!!! Thanks, I had a feeling it was something to do with the new viewer cause it never happened before. I'll try that transparency bit. It takes time, but I've done something similar before with a hair. -

Why do some hairs have this choppy alpha problem?

Yes, that's what I was refering to, the choppy alpha textures. But in the photo at the store it's not like that all. Which makes me think it's me or my viewer. I even bought one of the hairs thinking maybe it was the demo, and it still happened. -

No, It's the Demo. I don't buy them when they look like this. I'll try to clear the cache and see if that works though. Thanks -
Does anyone know why some hairs have this choppy alpha problem? Is it me? Is it my computer, settings, etc? I seem to have this problem viewing just certain hairs. I never buy them when I see this problem, so is it the hair or me? I hope you can see from this picture what I'm talking about. The edges aren't smooth like they should be.

Does anyone know how to turn off and on the info display when the cursor is on text in the inventory or on my Avatar? It's driving me nuts when I'm editing my Avatar that I have to wait for the Profile info to disappear or when I'm in my inventory the info text displayed gets in the way. But yet, there are times when I need it so I want to be able to turn it off and on. Lib

The skin is that great $70L skin from "Glam Affair- Layla Tan - D Gold Night" that was at The Dressing Room a awhile back. I added the beauty marks, Glamorize:. Vixen Lips - Mono - Charcoal, Amacci ~ Eyelashes "Venus" - Black. Thanks for the link to Truth. I love that hair. I bought it when it first came out. I was looking for something "less" natural, though and more sculptural. I love those Japanese hair designs. Lib

I agree, Melita, I forgot about BareRose. But just an FYI about Bax and invisiprims. They have an updater in their store! I went there and updated all my Bax shoes to new viewer! Check it out. It's near the desk of their main store. Lib -
Good idea...it's just that I don't have very good luck IM with owners! but I will try that if all else fails. Lib

Update..with the new viewer the ARC (Avatar Rendering Cost) is now Draw Rate for Avatars (DRA ?) and Mesh objects DO count high! UGH!
-
I think now a days with objects (especially hair!) being so primmy, I think it's almost impossible to keep the ARC down. Who wants to walk around bald ! LOL
-
I was going through my inventory and I realized that there are some things that I bought long ago that have survived the test of time in SL! Things so incredibly made so many years ago that still are in fashion. Here is one of them. Care to share yours? BAX Ankle Boots

This is one of my favorites. The purse has my RL dog Tuffy (ain't he cute!). LOL I made him from a sculpty bear I had and applied a texture of his picture on a flat prim (It was the only way I knew how to do it.)
