As will become obvious, I have little scripting experience. I'm trying to imitate an amusement park type ride. One sits in a spinning 'car' at the end of an arm which revolves about a central hub. So, I build a cube-hub, a cylinder arm and a cube-car and link them with the cube-hub as the root. Next I insert this simple script into the cube-hub and also into the cube-car: default { state_entry() { llTargetOmega(<0,0,1>,.2,1.0); } } From afar, he cubes move as I want them to. When I sit on the cube-hub, I revolve nicely. BUT, when I sit on the cube-car, the cube revolves beneath me! My avatar instead rotates relative to the hub. From reading the forums, I THINK that either what I'm trying can't be made to work or that I need to put extra code in the child prim about Get and Set Local rotation. Any idea or assistance is appreciated. Thanks, Yipp Oh
