  1. In the administration of a roleplay sim arguments constantly arise about who did what to whom and who was to blame for what, and beleaguered admins have to try to sort it all out with a minimum of fuss. So it is common for a rp sim to have in their rules that by joining the sim and entering the roleplay, the player is agreeing that chat logs may be shared in the event of a dispute, and used to get to the bottom of the situation. Is this permissible? After all, if the player is unwilling to share logs - if they think they will have something to hide - they don't have to be there. Membership of any community is by the invitation and permission of the sim owners. So are the owners free to lay down such conditions, and ask that only people who are willing to accept their conditions come and play?
