I accidentally abandoned my land. Can I get it back?

IE: I get an IM. It says Good Morning. I answer Good Morning. Next time I look the chat is filled with the following, having erased all of the past chat. 'So and so paid you 1L$.' Sixteen times. So far only from friends. The coins don't actually come to me. Most pay me 1 linden. One friend pays me fifty linden. They are phantom though. It's annoying. This bug erases previous chat in the open IM. I lose links, poetry that is passed to me. And of course I lose the conversation because I cannot refer back to it. Any ideas out there?

I cannot get notecards from notecard givers or from information displays where it says touch for notecard. I do get hand dropped notecards via IM or directly on my head. Everyone else on V2 that I know gets them. This is true on a Mac or a PC.
