[IS anyone else having problems where all of a sudden you cant type on SL?]

I had this happen a couple of times last week and re-logging cleared it.  It was during the same period where I was getting a number of viewers crashes.  Whatever was causing it seems to have cleared up for me, hope it has for you also.

Try a web site that has DIY home plans.  Find a style you like, then recreate it.

I know the feeling, I was trying to justify purchasing it but my laptop is still pretty new. If that doesn't work out for you there really are many good choices at you budget point. Maybe even spend a bit less on the laptop and get a large monitor and wireless keyboard to hook to it and use when at your normal location. Happy Hunting

You would have no problem running this on ultra Asus @ Tiger Direct

Make sure you get a laptop cooler if you are going to run a high end laptop for any period of time.

[Survey of SL]

I usually will complete a survey to help a student out but there are some problems here.... one link does not work, spelling and grammatical errors abound, and there is no University research approval noted.

 

Might want to address those and then post this in the proper area.
