  1. Like I said, that's where my brain checks out. I know it has SOMETHING to do with physics, but I don't know who where when why how, etc. Do I just take the pool "bowl" and plug that into the physics tab of the uploader? What options do I then choose in the following steps. Solid, surface, wrap? Am I conveying at which point I'm stuck? Dazed and confused, but I'm getting there. :smileyembarrassed:
  2. I'm still new at mesh so go easy on me. I'm modeling a pool (not my idea) and I've got the mesh done in 3dsmax, imports with a LI of 6. It looks ok and autogenerated LOD works for me. The problem I'm having is that I walk on TOP of the pool and not into it. I have a feeling this has something to do with physics but that's where my brain checks out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  3. I've been working with mesh for a while now, mainly static objects such as chairs and table, etc. Now I want to move on a try my hand at some shoes. I've got the modeling down (been using 3ds max for a number of years) what I don't know how to do yet is import the shoes and wear them. I've successfully done a couple of hats but I feel that there are a few different things that need to be done since feet are not static. I've been hunting the net but haven't found any guides/tutorials/howto's. The one I DID find stopped right at the step that I needed to do next. I have the model made and can import it as a static object. Now I just need to find out what to do next. Rigging? Attachment point? Etc, etc?
