ok so here's the issue..... I created a simple mesh dining room table, the legs are composed of 4 torus's around 1 cylinder, the top is a basic cube as well as the skirt for the top - when uploaded to second life and rezzed it uses 22 prims of my alotted useage on the parcel as expected - so i took each table leg and it's torus's and welded them in my 3d app, now when uploaded to SL and rezzed the object shows accordingly as 6 prims on the edit tab, HOWEVER it takes a whopping 42 prims away from my alotted parcel allowance. What gives??
