Many people are talking about it now. I wish the Lindens would explain and correct it.

I have been on the phone quite a bit with my ISP. We even traced the path back to the SL servers with no packet loss. Yet the lag is bad in both Singularity and Firestorm, the SHIFT-CNTRL-1 Stats window shows bad ping (160) and packaet loss, and I lag. This started about 10 days ago, and I don't know what to do ... I am going to switch modems, beacsue it is all I can control, it seems. I may just stop playing out of frustration ...

Thank you so much, Nalates! I am using a Singularity viewer. I reloaded it last week and that hasn't helped. The viewer has changed for me ... lag, etc. I get what are, in effect, 5-10 second pauses in the stream. I spoke with my ISP and everytnhing seems fine on that end. I'm using a two-year-old Netgear router.

I haven't changed any settings, but over the last 3-4 days, I am lagging to death! I run a speed test, and my speeds are good: 10.5 dowload and 1.4 upload. When I check performance stats, my ping is good (around 100) and mt FPS is excellent (almost always 60 FPS and above). But I watch my bandwidth collapse to single digits as I lag out. I am in Connecticut. Is the server I access messed up now? Please help!
