A friend and I were experimenting with dragon versus small little human with land damage on. His Seawolf Dragon against me and my little Rosewood Bow and Spear. Since we were testing things out we took turns. The Bow did damage and poof he was gone. Tried the Spear and no luck(we think maybe because the target area is unreachable even though he was on the ground and sat as well). Then I changed my weapon to my Gladius Erytheia. This actually worked to well as it killed him in one swing. I did try some other free weapons but they did not seem to work. We would like to get some kind of fighting going on that would be between humankind and dragonkind without the use of huds or such if possible, but that may more than likely be unavoidable. We had both used the Battlemaster hud for Dragon combat which took a bit(maybe we have terrble aim). If land damage is on, that means push and any other means(guns, lasers, any excessive hud killing weapons like nukes or such) could also work if I am thinking right or is there a way to limit those or not? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated Vladamir

Boosting sales is hard as heck. I have had my store open for a bit and have not gotten a single sale other than my very close friends. I had refined the search criteria as well as key words but the fact is that my goods are way way in the back of any search as well as anyone else's that is new. Unless someone is looking for exactly what I am selling, there is no sale at all. With my appearing in searches for my products only getting into the 900-1000's about now for 3 items it tends to make me think that there is not really much chance that I will get a sale. I had thought greatly about my products as well as looking at others as well. To me it seems that if you only have a few, or one type that it will be almost impossible to get anywhere. Some of the other merchants I have noticed have several types of products. Some that do clothing also do buildings or some such things that open their market up for more eyes(naturally). I do also tend to think that if something is on the market, some may just opt to build something themselves. Overall it seems to me that all of SL has a little bit of a slump, suppose that could be do to global economy and or holidays, perhaps both. It raises far more questions than what can be answered it seems.

Same issue here. I have talked to Linden Labs and Paypal, no headway either side. I did manage to purchase $50 USD worth of Lindens through a stroke of luck, but wanted to buy $100. Seems that Linden Labs say it is Paypal, Paypal says that maybe it is something with connection or communication between the links. Tried it inworld and got nothing there as well. Tried different browsers too. Maybe it depends on the time of day? I did manage some months ago to purchase some after one failed attempt during the day. Still very curious.

Well, we finally got this sorted after a bit last week. Had a friend pop over who was always showing naked to me when she first started on SL. Best method was to take off skin and shape to jumpstart her avi. Took all of a minute I think. I was cracking up, should have asked my friend first. :matte-motes-big-grin:

Ah, bake fail. Think someone had said something about this to me a while ago, that was when Ruthing was major problem before the update some time back. I will give this a try with her as this does seem the most likely issue. I just hope that we don't have to mess on the bandwidth business as that sounds like it could be a lot of work. No she doesn't use other viewers. We have rebaked so much that we could feed all of SL in one day, lol. It is rather frustrating, just wish that I could make a case for Linden Labs to figure on but I don't see how it fits into what their catergories are.

Some crazy reason my girl friend's avi does not seem to show up to me like it does to her. We went through the whole Ruthing business, set the default load avi and such, but I still see her as the last outfit she was wearing. The other night she had a nice pink number on but she had changed it to a white and black dress when we went dancing. The pink dress remained in my eyes but she saw the white and black. Yesterday she was showing up to me in the white and black dress which she had changed to something else. Again she saw what she was wearing, I saw the white and black. This is really driving me nuts and her as well. We can't seem to get any good answers as most of them come back to Ruthing which is not the issue(I don't think). We had done the dreaded avi reset which sets you back to you starter about a month or so ago when she was a cloud(or a gray blob). We both use Phoenix viewer and are both up to date on the latest download. If anyone knows what the heck is the cause, and how to fix please send me in the right direction(suppose that it will be on my end since I am the one seeing her wrong). Thanks Vladamir Bearsfoot
