I have been away for a while and am looking for a place that I can engage in conversation, possibly make a friend or two. I used to go Hyles often, but now that place doesn't seem to be very active anymore. Meeting new people and making friends feels soo good. I can't wait to back into the swing of things again. :-)

It has been quite some time since I last logged onto Second Life. My dances really need some updating, and I am looking around to find some nice ethnic grinding and booty popping dances. So far, no matter how hard I search I am finding nothing. I don't want to kick, spin, or breakdance either. I just want to have some good ole' fashion booty shaking "twerking", and Jamaican grinding fun. You know how it is when you go to a club that has the right kind of music and scene that you like.....but nooo preloaded dances for the people.....ugh. So, I am shopping to own a few. I have just purchased a new HP laptop that is running windows 8. Unlike my previous problem when all I could see was this ugly purple or pink color everywhere, I am able to see everything just fine upon logging in. Only now my menu screens seems to be blinking red, even when I try to send a private message. Sometimes I have to wait a bit before the words actually show on the screen because my words that I am typing will not appear. So, now that I am trying to ignore that issue and continue with my personal tasks I have noticed that there are these small blue squares on the right side of my screen. If anyone has experienced this or anything similar and have a solution, I would surely appreciate any input on this new dilemma. Thanks, vibrantly Carissa
