  1. while my issue has cleared up, on both laptop and desktop both running different Cards and drivers, this issue is resolved for me. no more seeing thru you when I try to sell furniture, or 'practicing' on the furniture that I sell. *giggles*. For all we know it was a quiet fix from SL... or ATI but... my Moble ATI hasn't had any updates in years.
  2. I had it set to Standard, and still it was doing the ghosting. Although I've reverted everything to deaults so I'll see how that goes.
  3. I've added my vote to the pJIRA hopefully it'll get fixed in Viewer 2.
  4. Yes I see semi-transparency on both computers, both have ATI graphics. The main computer Graphics are up-to-date. Second Life 1.23.5 (136262) Oct 14 2009 12:08:26 (Second Life Release) Release Notes Built with MSVC version 1400 CPU: Intel Core 2 Series Processor (2394 MHz) Memory: 8126 MB OS Version: Professional (Build 7600) Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series Windows Graphics Driver Version: OpenGL Version: 3.2.9252 Compatibility Profile Context libcurl Version: libcurl/7.18.1 OpenSSL/0.9.8j zlib/1.2.3 J2C Decoder Version: KDU Audio Driver Version: FMOD version 3.740000 LLMozLib Version: - 2.01.30509 (Mozilla GRE version 1.8.1.21_0000000000) There's my main computers about stats.taken from the about SL tab on the launcher. they were still ghosting, I've reset to defaults, I've uninstalled and reinstalled, Also tried using Snowglobe as an alternate viewer and still the samething happens.
  5. I think I may have found the answer. While the transparency issue isn't fixed, it may be because both my computers have ATI graphics cards I also tried to uninstall and reinstall an alternate viewer (as seen as below) and get the exact same problems. Think I could install a previous version of SL? would that fix these problems? Snowglobe 1.2.4 (3007) Nov 18 2009 12:11:13 (Snowglobe Release) Release Notes Built with MSVC version 1400 CPU: Intel Core 2 Series Processor (1997 MHz) Memory: 2047 MB OS Version: Professional (Build 7600) Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. 6. well unfortunetly I've not been able to get this solved I did update my vid drivers but that did nothing. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p183/alwaysquirky/Other/SLBUG.png that's the screen I took earlier today friend came over and I could just see right thru him. mostly noticable at his feet.
  7. I've been having an annoying problem. Lately I've been able to see thru avatars and textures, it's like they are set to a transperency, I've even been able to see right thru myself when I move to different sims, and I know I"m not transperent. I've tried changing my settings and it's not working a little help here would be greatly appreciated. this 'ghosting' thing really ruins the mood at times.
