Desiderata Lisle

Well, last night, tried to TP to my home/house and couldn't get there, ended up in a "dump" sim with a crowd of other avatars. Went back to toddling around SL for a bit, tried to go "home" to change clothes, and ended up treading water somewhere. Finally just logged out, since there was nothing on the GRID STATUS page about any sims being down for an extended length of time. Logged in this morning, SAME THING - rezzed in a crowd of other avs in some club in some other sim..... can't get home. The sim shows on the map, even one avatar shown as a little green dot in a neighboring sim, but I CANNOT TP HOME. NOTHING ON THE GRID STATUS PAGE. NO RESTARTS SCHEDULED, NO CLUE ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS ON THE GRID. What is going on?

It's apparently linked to my avatar. I tp'd to Sweetheart's and they ejected me, some kind of beacon went to my chest or spine. I went back to my house and detached EVERYTHING, then logged in with the LL1.23 viewer (was using Phoenix, and have not been able to hear ambient noise for the last wk w/that viewer, but can w/the LL1.23 viewer). After logging in with the LL1.23 viewer, I heard the alarm noise. Can't get rid of it.
