If I add appliers to an old listing, am I allowed to relist as a new listing?

oops! Logged in alt using the standard SL viewer and the mesh items are still all messed up but also still have the color problem (they are bright stripes of different colors that have nothing to do with the actual texture of the object).

I noticed my webroot showed active but also expired lol. I renewed it for a year (now have 495 days ???). so i reinstalled FS and tried again. The colors were correct this time but still mesh items were not rezzing properly. For instance, mesh pants attached to hand are shown on the hand instead of moving onto body. All mesh items are the same. I also see mesh items on other avis the same.

This has been going on for a few days and I have done countless clean reinstalls of both SL and Firestorm viewers. Either I crash logging in or within a few seconds of being logged in or if I seem like i got logged in, if I try to move. But even logged in, my screen is crazy. Mesh items are not joining the mesh body and even the world textures are crazy. I need to correct something on an item that I already have listed. Does it work that I just make the change to the item in my inventory and voila! ? Or do I need to make it a whole new listing?

i need to apply text over an existing textured object. i have the text on an alpha background and saved/uploaded as a png. And of course, when i drag it onto the side of the prim where it needs to go, it makes the background around the text invisible. can someone please tell me how to do this? Thanks :)

I have searched and searched to no avail. I am looking for a script/HUD that will allow users to add their own custom text to an object (prim or mesh) - I guess with copy/trans so my customers could use it. Maybe I'm not putting in the correct search string in MP. Does anyone here know where I might find this? Thanks, Gabi

First, please let me say that Second Life has the must frustrating and annoying "Help" or "Submit a Ticket" that I have ever seen! The categories are extremely limited and if the problem does not fit perfectly into one of those very few models, it seems someone is SOL. I tried to sell Lindens and inadvertently put in an incorrect PayPal email address. While the transaction is still "Processing" I was hoping to have it stopped and corrected. (But of course, I apparently can't contact by phone nor does it fit into the limited criteria for submitting a ticket.) Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks!

Yes exactly. The dresses I have posted fit "old west" or really any of that kind of roleplay. While Gor may (and definitely is) adult roleplay, so is vampires, so is old west, so really is almost any roleplay. The items are not selling adult roleplay... The long dresses are selling overly modest clothing. The textures... pretty backgrounds with 3 moons. Forcing these into higher restriction is thoughtless and silly and should be looked at with an eye to change. (For pete's sake, just as non-gor items are rated individually.... just because one top has the breasts cut out, does not mean that all tops should be higher restriction... sheesh!)

It seems quite unfair to force higher maturity level for anything using the word "Gorean". I am trying to sell gowns that cover EVERYTHING, includes even veils. There is nothing exposed or in any way sexual. But they are being forced to a higher maturity level (even while some clothing that is non-Gorean does show almost everything). Backgrounds that are suitable for Gorean photos, simply because they include the Gorean 3 moons... nothing sexual... only scenery.... higher maturity levels. There are MANY things that are for use in Gor that are not sexual or even suggestive... nothing at all...

I no longer am receiving notifications of my sales on Marketplace... I have no idea what is selling and don't know any way to find out without the emails. Is there some way I can find out what items aer selling? (BTW, the reports are pretty much worthless, imo.)

suddenly i am getting this message when i try to rez in the skybox i rent: [14:17] Second Life: Can't rez object at { 59.6873, 190.371, 1199.76 } because the owner of this land does not allow it. Use the land tool to see land ownership. i have cleared cache, relogged, etc. it was not required that i use the group tag before and had no problem rezzing. i have tried using the group tag and it didn't help. I also can't rez on the ground

I don't understand the monthly use fees for mainland. I have a premium account. What is the maximum land I can buy without going over 25/month in use fees? Discovery Island sim has been down for quite a long time today. How do we get an ETA for being able to return home?

Suddenly I can no longer click on a notecard that is linked inside another notecard. When I mouse over it, the pointer turns into a "hand", as it should... but nothing happens when I click on it. I have checked to be sure I am not on my Block List. Does anyone know what might have suddenly caused this? Thanks :) ********************** I have tried different sims and different viewers. It has always worked for me until 2 days ago, and it's frustrating. Thank you very much... I didn't realize it but I can drag the linked NC into my inventory. However, this is really not a fix... just a bandaid, and I hope someone will help me fix this. Thanks again :)
