im having the same exact issues. and i have searched everywhere i can think of with no luck

i have the same issue as well. I have searched everywhere i can think to look and still no help. I have tried all the suggestions i have had and support is basically impossible

thanks so much in for any help i have disabled my software firewall. completely bypassed the router.I reset both the router and modem. tried logging in on alts, on different sims and from a different computer. i contacted my isp and they said they had no ports blocked. The day before yesterday i logged out of sl and everythign was fine. Now 2 days later i still keep getting the region handshake error and absolutely nothing has changed on my computer. any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh i even uninstalled and reinstalled the program even tried a different version.ie. sl viewer, phoenix and firestorm. all seperately. made sure all the left over sl files were deleted as well i also tried to log in from my ipod touch. I contacted sl they said there is no ban or block of any kind on my account. it was another computer on the same network. i did bypass the router though with the same results. i tried your idea. i even ran regedit and removed all phoenix and secondlife entries and still freezing at the region handshake screen oh and no peer guardian or anything like that today i tried to log in from a friends house and it worked fine is there any place to find answers that arent the stock sl replies? this is getting frustratung and the lack of help from LL is really annoying
